It’s no wonder. His mum, Nola, recalls his first sessions unfolding about the time he was taking his first steps. Those early rides were had at First Point on the front of a 9’1” driven by his Dad. By age three his mum was pushing him onto insiders at First Point while his dad, Mick, and two older brothers, Seb and Bart, surfed out the back. A few years later Julian was old enough to steer his own craft and he and Nola joined Mick, Seb and Bart in the line up.
